About Us

I am a wife to my wonderful husband of 8 years and a homeschooling mama to 4 beautiful children. My passion for nature was sparked as a young adult, I loved being anywhere in nature and in my spare time you would find me on the trails hiking. When God blessed us with children, we knew we wanted to give them the best education and build lasting relationships with them through homeschooling and that is when I began to look into different methods of schooling. The Reggio Emilia philosophy really resonated with me because it is very child-centered and child-directed and both of these hit me strong. I wanted to spark learning in my child's eyes and let them take the lead as we experiment and build a relationship with each other. I believe that nature feeds the heart first and then the brain. Studies have shown that early education in the nature has lasting positive impacts on our children's heart as well as their attitudes about the world around them.
